Equipando Padres (Equipping Parents) is a grade 6-12 outreach event created to inspire students to pursue STEM education on a day filled with excitement and learning! Throughout the event, we engage parents and their pre-college students through educational workshops about college readiness, hands-on experiences in learning about engineering companies, and the opportunity to speak with industry professionals in STEM.
The goal of this event is to give students exposure to the world of engineering and to inspire the future generation of engineers. Our mission is to provide an inclusive environment to underrepresented backgrounds and guide first-generation students in their pursuit of a STEM career. |
