What is Día de Ciencias? Día de Ciencias (Day of Science) is a K-8 outreach event created to inspire students to pursue STEM education on a day filled with excitement and learning! Throughout the event, we engage students through an engineering fair presented by various on-campus student organizations and companies. Each organization demonstrates a hand-ons STEM activity to attendees, teaching students various STEM-related concepts. The goal of this event is to give students exposure to the world of engineering and to inspire the future generation of engineers. Our mission is to provide an inclusive environment to underrepresented backgrounds and guide first-generation students in their pursuit of a STEM career.
